He has acted in so many things it's too many to mention here, but when he was yonger he was a foreign exchange student in the kids programme Grange Hill, he has also been on Eastenders, he has played Prince Edward in BBC's Richard III, and in more recent times was the rehearsal pianist in the hit Oscar Nominated film 'Mrs Henderson Presents', where he performed both as an actor and pianist auditioning the likes of Will Young. As a musician Dorian has also performed in the jazz world with Julian Joseph and Courtney Pine, in theatre at the Old Vic, in classical industry, for TV adverts, for Tonight with Trevor Macdonald, and for private functions for the likes of Prince Charles and Joan Rivers.
What will the music be like?
Other than the obligatory CD quality standard, Dorian is a very musically sensitive performer. He and the band will perform a mix of original compositions and jazz standards offering cool grooves appealing to those having melodic tastes. He will be joined by the UK's smoothest (no much smoother than that....No..smoother still....No..smoother) trumpet players Matt Gough (who is great with a mute!), plus full band.
